Getting Started

Prerequisites

• Anki and the AnkiConnect plugin
• Yomitan extension installed and configured in your browser

Quick Start

1. Set up prerequisites

   Enure you have Anki with AnkiConnect, and Yomitan is setup in in your browser.

2. Install the desktop app

   Download Remoki Desktop for your platform and install it.

3. Configure mining settings

   In the desktop app, go to Settings → Mining to select your Anki deck, note type, and configure field mappings. If you already have Anki card creation set up in Yomitan, click Import from Yomitan… to import your settings automatically.

4. Install the mobile app and pair

   Install Remoki on your phone and scan the QR code shown in the desktop app’s Settings → Pairing tab.

5. Start mining!

   Select any Japanese text on your phone, share it to Remoki, and watch it appear as an Anki card on your desktop within seconds.
